A sad story about a mother who who has been grieving the loss of a child for fifty years.
This tale was told in two points of view, Val a strange lady in her seventies and Rafe, her estranged son.
This had an interesting premise that kept me reading, despite the plodding in the middle. I knocked of a star as I didn’t like the ending. It left me wanting more.
