while some poems made me cringe, like some of the women empowerment ones (i generally cringe at men writing about women empowerment because it lacks depth and feels like they’re just writing it to get on our “good side”) i found a lot of the others ones to be relatable in a heartbreaking/empowering way, so i guess that’s where my 3 stars comes from... the half good, half bad i see in this collection
