An enjoyable reimagining of the legend of Arthur and his knights.
Deonn's writing and storytelling abilities were just as magical as her characters. This book contains strong character development and plot pacing. There was a lot to unravel with many moving parts, but Deonn did a great job weaving stories of old and new together. I enjoyed Deonn's portrayal of Bree and how Bree arrives at her ancestors. I respected everything about Bree, her struggle, and her unfailing commitment to friendships and family.
I do suggest reviewing trigger warnings for this book.
