SVSSS is the only MXTX novel I haven’t currently finished. Prior to this version I tried reading the fan translation online but, unfortunately, that particular translation did a really poor job of explaining the basic premise of the novel, which is critical to having any clue what is actually happening.
This translation is great and does a really good job of explaining some of the intricacies of Chinese web culture which are critical to this story. This, so far, seems the most playful of the MXTX novels I’ve read and I’m really excited to continue with volume 2 when it comes out!
