The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway

No plot just vibes is the motto of hemingway. nothing happens, it's just kind of a vibe. I like this one slightly more than a farewell to arms, less of a note on the romance aspect and more about the men. I think hemingway should just stop trying to write women, idk he writes male relationships just fine, they're interesting and I care about them but the women in his books are just poorly done. they're cool but you can tell he doesn't really care for them. liked all of the characters though. definitely on the antisemitic side which i didn't notice too much in afta so it was a bit jarring. maybe we just write about men and leave the bigotry out H? can we do that buddy?
