I wanted to like this a lot more than I actually did, but it wasn't a bad book by any means. Just kinda meh for me personally.
Some parts were really good, and then some parts were just kinda weird, and some parts I couldn't quite tell what the author was aiming for me to feel or what point he was trying to make.
One thing I did love was the explanation of Mort(e)'s unique name.
