Having re-read this 7 years later I remember why this one wasn't five stars for me, as the same feeling of just something being missing from the end hit me again.
Brilliant and timeless book and really one of those must-reads in my opinion as it's been a classic and well loved for a good reason for many years now. Pointed social commentary packed in an easily read way, with great writing that grips you and makes you feel.
The ending for me didn't fully carry all of those things through, while I get it's a trilogy something about the ending doesn't make me feel like it is the perfect set up for the following book, that should have been possible after everything the book delivered until that point. It felt a little too rushed, after having just found a great balance between slowing down and packing action the previous 400 pages.
