Nightfall by Penelope Douglas

dark emotional mysterious slow-paced

4.25

I can’t even put into words how much this book resonated with me. I found Emory incredibly relatable and I really loved her as a character. It frustrates me now to see how people reacted to her character and how people say she’s such a bad person and doesn’t deserve Will.

“Real monsters don’t wear masks, William Grayson III,”
“They look like everyone else.”

I loved Will in this book as well though. I thought he was so good for Emory and I loved that he never gave up on her.

“But you’re going to be fucking mine someday,”
“Come hell or high water, Emory Scott.”

I think Penelope did a really great job at wrapping the series up with this book and it kind of covered all of the bases. And they created probably one of my favorite ending lines ever.

Be Lilith,
Never Eve.
