This books has its ups and downs. While I do appreciate the storyline and the message. With the characters being in their early 20’s living the life they lived feels unrealistic and therefore was very hard for me to get through. For me There is the tone of romanticizing domestic violence. I get the point of showing that it isn’t not always easy to leave but to be honest this just wasn’t the book for me.
