This is actually one of the better Step 1 books I have read. The plot had a good flow and wasn't too choppy. It is a quick summary of the Paw Patrol episode, but it is easy to understand. I have found many early readers are difficult to follow because they are so choppy, but this one had a nice balance.
I was a little confused about the location of the dungeon (Zuma hears knocking underwater, but Rubble drills above the water and Chase can just step out?), but it was a small detail that didn't really hurt the story.
Good book overall. Nice pictures that help cue the reader in to what the text says.
