The Blueprint by S.E. Harmon

4.0

This book is about Blue and Kelly. Blue is in the NFL. We all know what that means here people. Kelly his lifelong bestie is a tatted up and pierced college physics professor. He is most definitely gay. He's also in love with a clueless Blue.

Blue knows Kelly is the most important person in his life. He misses him when he doesn't see him and craves his company. He also has started to notice the attractiveness of his BFF. When drunken shenanigans leads to a hook up, Kelly can't take it anymore and tells Blue how he feels. And round and round we go with the push pull, jealousy, and drama until Blue finally makes up his mind. And when Blue makes up his mind thats it. He's all in baby.

I liked how Blue never chastised himself over the things he and Kelly were doing . He never had those OMG self flaggilating moments where he made up excuses. He just kinda rolled with the punches a bit. Kelly, poor Kelly, I felt bad for him a lot. But I also loved being in his head especially when he was thinking about his students. His sarcasm was just fun. The ending is a HFN situation which works with this one. If you like GFY/OFY genre pick this one up
