Horrifying and urgent in it’s need to divulge some of the most complicated war-time atrocities the world has seen. The characters are deeply complex and human. The magic system is continually confusing, as you learn it alongside Rin. This series is profoundly important in this world that easily forgets its past mistakes and sacrifices.
