An interesting, short, and wonderfully weird tale that delivers some pretty funny commentary on early 1800s aristocratic standards. Definitely a story that should be mentioned in the same breath as Dracula and Frankenstein but isn't. A bit weirdly paced by modern standards, but that's the perils of reading stuff from two centuries ago.
