What a perfect little debut novel! I had such a wonderful time reading it and part of that experience is due to an absolutely fantastic narrator on the audiobook, Alex Finke! She really brought this one to life. I loved the New York City setting, Cinnamon Roll boyfriend, Grumpy x Sunshine, Friends to Lovers vibe. Henry Adams is a home run MMC. And Bennet Taylor, although sometimes a bit insufferable and full of bad decisions, is also a likable 20-something woman who is grieving, healing, and learning about herself. This book is not only a love story but a book about friendship and finding yourself. The banter was top notch and the slow burn romance was great. London Sperry has made her way up to my favorite romance authors. If you like Cara Bastone, Emily Henry, Abby Jimenez, I know you’ll like this one too.
