My Thoughts:

So I listened to the audiobook, and it had its moments. I enjoyed mostly everything leading up to when Addison and Elijah finally got together. But then, it went downhill for me. I always go into a Tessa Bailey book knowing I’ll either love the smut or hate it. And unfortunately, these sex scenes were not for me. I didn't mind what they did (FYI she sticks her finger up his peach). But I just didn't like the cringy dirty talk or descriptors used.

Also, Addison straight up falls for Elijah the minute she sees him at the wedding. Like, dead ass in love because he's hot. That's batshit crazy. And then Elijah is unwilling to acknowledge what he feels for Addisons is love for the dumbest reason. This denial of feelings got really old really fast.

I wish I read this book instead of listened to the audiobook. The female narrator's voice was annoying in general, and so whiney and breathy during sex scenes that I had a perpetual look of horror on my face when I was listening. And the southern accent of the male narrator wasn’t my favorite. It did not match the voice I would have imagined.
