I didn't think I would really like this book. I'm not a big fan of prequel but this one... Well, it was really great. I like how the hunger games were incorporated. We weren't following the tribute's POV but the mentor's POV. It was different.
Since it is during the 10th Hunger Games, I really liked how the games were not as developped as the book 1.
For Snow, I liked how his development was complicated yet really simple. He was always hungry for ambition and power. He was just distracted for a little while by love but, at the end, he did return to his beloved ambition Little rebelous but not enough to not become the futur President Snow.
