Collide by Megan Hart

5.0

I feel as though I can always count on Megan Hart when I want to read something that's entertaining and sexy, and Collide is no exception.

This was slightly different from any of the other books I've read by Megan Hart because of the paranormal element, and I have to admit that I wasn't sure how I felt about that when I started this book, but in the end I really enjoyed it and thought it was a very cool twist in the story.

As with her previous novels, I really enjoyed the characters. There's something that's just very honest in her writing that has always appealed to me. Whatever the circumstances her characters are in, they always seem to come across as believable. Maybe that's just her writing style, but whatever it is, it works for me.

Early on, I guess what was happening to Emm, but it was still very enjoyable to read and see how things would play out.

As I said above, I really enjoyed the characters. I think even without the brain injury the relationship between Emm and her parents and leaving home for the first time is somethings that most people can relate to.

Johnny was intriguing because I couldn't really get a handle on him at first, but he was still hella sexy because, hello, he's Johnny Fucking Dellasandro. ;) In the end, though, he turned out to be a good guy that I really liked.

Jen was a fun character as well. I could have done with fewer uses of sentences that ended or begun with the word "girl," but, even so, she had a cool personality. She was the kind of girl I'd like to hang out with and gossip and gush over guys with.

And, as with most Megan Hart novels, it was awesome, as always, to hear mention of previous places and characters from other novels. I can name one off the top of my head, though there might have been more from other novels I haven't yet read. Regardless, this was a fun, sexy and intriguing read!
