Are you ready to have your heart strings tugged at?
I downloaded this half way through reading Emily's over book Hooked, I clearly don't read the backs of books and that is why I went into this book expecting a super sexy mafia-esque time only to find myself crying a chapter in.
This is a touching contemporary romance with all of my favorite tropes:
-second chance romance
-best friend's brother
-THIS MADE ME A FAN OF FRIEND'S TO LOVERS
-miscommunication
This goes so much deeper than just being a small town contemporary with second chance romance, it has so many intracite side stories running in it, and secondary characters whose stories you will be itching read based on the teasers you get throughout the series. The characters are all lovable and so redeemable, I just can't talk about this series enough.
