Got the first 3 books in the series in a audio on sale via Chirpbooks and listened to this when I needed my hands free because if I had been reading this with my eyes, it probably would have been a DNF. I was annoyed with Erica for not being honest with Lachlan about her ex framing her for embezzling funds - she seemed to just accept her fate without doing everything possible to fight for her freedom so I had little sympathy for her. And Lachlan's baggage about his ex-wife ruining him was dumb too because it implied that he didn't trust Erica to be different. I would have had no patience for their mutual dumbness but because it played while I was doing other things, I finished it. Bleh.
