The Good Sister by Leanne Davis

5.0

Lindsey & Noah

Ok so we learn of Lindsey from Jessie's story because they are sisters. And yeah ok Lindsey was blindsided about what was going on with her sister, because her father made it that way. So yeah I wasn't really mad at Lindsey about that, she was a kid too.

So now Lindsey is married to a weasel I won't even type his name he is that bad. Abuse isn't even the word to describe what he does to this girl. Domestic violence for me isn't something I have had to deal with and I had the same thoughts I am sure a lot of people do. Why she doesn’t just leave? But seeing it from the victim’s point of view I have a whole new outlook on it. She really felt like she couldn't leave he would find her and kill her. I really like he would have too if he wasn’t in the public so much.
I can't understand how no one noticed how off she was when she came to visit with her sister. The phone calls alone would have made me start to question her. That part of the story I think is what I have a hard time with.

Oh Noah wow he isn't the manly man like Will who can swoop in and steal the show his quiet understanding is really amazing and I think what Lindsey needed in the end.
But yeah I can't say what I wanted to ... I didn't want to give anything away but that one part blew me the hell away!!!! But it helped everyone so I guess I can see past that.
How angry Lindsey was after really had me having a hard time understanding that. I think she need to have some Therapy as soon as she was away to help her really deal with everything. I also thing she felt like she thought she deserved what she had to go through because she wasn't there for Jessie. But really how could she be. She couldn't go up against her father and not become what Jessie did in the end. So yeah that was a lot for this review but as you can see these books really stick with me and I end up yapping. So I will end this now. READ these books!
