I had decided to listen to the audiobook after learning Pedro Pascal was the reader, so it was overall a neutral read for me as far as plot goes, but Pedro is a great narrator, truly acting through the words (very entertaining). The story got kind of chaotic after the halfway point & it lost me when shamans were introduced, but the “listener stories” of the titular ghost radio were pretty creepy, some were even too intense.

The characters were written pretty generically, which is why I got bored towards the end. Again, listening to it, I was more engaged because Pedro did a great job. I would definitely recommend listening vs reading because Pedro made it worth it.
