The Master Key by Masako Togawa

mysterious medium-paced

3.25

Interesting read of separate storylines that eventually converge at the end. And yes, there was a human mastermind behind it all. And yes, there were unintended consequences in their attempts to pull the strings behind the scenes. It was pretty enthralling for the most part, though there was a small portion near the end that was so-so. I think there is another book from this imprint by the same author. Maybe I'll check it out.
