 Lucy Chase doesn't remember anything from the night her best friend Savvy was killed. So when she's found wandering down the road, covered in Savvy's blood, it's difficult for her to explain. There's not enough evidence to formally charge her, but the whole town (and country) seem to agree that she's a murderer. Five years later a true-crime podcast reignites interest in the case and Lucy returns to her hometown to try to finally find out the truth about what happened that night.

This story is propulsive and I loved Lucy's incredibly dry sense of humor. I had a hard time with all of the infidelity and sleeping around in this book, or maybe I just had a hard time with the fact that none of the characters seemed to have a hard time with it. That's one way to give everyone a motive for murder, but it felt a little lazy.
