As far as Stephanie Plum novels go, I'm giving this a four. Of course, that translates into, like, a 2 or a 2.5 when in context with the rest of my reviews. Perhaps because we did this one in short bursts, I enjoyed it more. The guy with the exploding taxidermy animals was really funny and weird, especially when he went on a semi-date with Grandma. The end was a little abrupt and arbitrary, even as far as Stephanie Plum novels go.
SpoilerUm, Stephanie's locked in a room without a phone. Outside, bad guy with flamethrower accidentally sets himself on fire, dies. Stephanie finds phone that was there all along and calls for help. The end. Okay.
