You might want to let yourself be drawn into this one if you love demons & demigods, arranged marriage tropes, enemies to lovers, knights, blood sucking MMCs, tension

I sat watching the clock for this book to drop into my kindle and when it dropped early I near had a heart attack and dropped everything I was doing to read it. Should I have been preparing for the book convention I was going to the next day? Sure. Should I have been actually sleeping instead of staying up binging the entire thing and being utterly exhausted the next day? Probably but OMG was it worth it. K.M Moronova weaves stories that dig deep into your soul and settle there, they evoke emotions you never thought they would and have you begging for more by the turn of the last page. 

The MMC Kalel had me swooning and then wanting to scream at him and how fast I fell for him should actually be il!egal. I’m not sure how the author does it but she has me so attached to the story that it’s impossible to put down and Kalel and Alira’s story had me gripping the edges of my kindle unable to look away as I was dragged on an emotional rollercoaster. I was enthralled entirely and even in my sleep deprived haze, waiting for my coffee the next morning - it was all I could think about.
