Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas

I recently went back and re-read this one. This time I couldn’t put it down and I understood some things more this time round. When I first read this one I was a little confused and bored and I definitely wasn’t keen on team Rowan. It took me longer to get through whereas this time I finished it in a couple of days with that excitement this time. Rowan has grown on me as a character and I look forward to re-reading the rest of the series with a new insight.
So many twists and turns in this one, there are times where it will seem slow but this is the book where we really get to know more of Celaena’s character and the beginning of a romance with Rowan. Plus, Dorian finally gets the character development he deserves!
