panijolene 's review for:
The Light of Other Days
by Stephen Baxter, Arthur C. Clarke
I read it out of a sense of duty to finish the story, but I really didn't enjoy it. The characters didn't seem to be well developed and their relationships with each other were largely forced. The concept of a time-viewer and lack of privacy are interesting, but I was bored with the descriptions and dives into "history." When I got to the last two chapters, I largely skimmed the pages because I just didn't care anymore. This is the first time in a while I have had this negative response to a book, especially a book I was eager to read.
