Absolutely brilliant, like all dense sci fi it takes a good few pages to get into but the payoff is immense. In fact this is probably the least dense start that I’ve read as it was so focused on the protagonist. Anyway, I loved the film and now the book even more, so expansive and overall so deeply positive in the way it proposes an exciting hypothesis on the origins of the universe. Highly elegant and the sort of book which successfully accomplishes the “big book” feeling.
