Before We Were Strangers by Renée Carlino
4.0
Renée Carlino’s Before We Were Strangers is a beautifully written story about missed connections, fate, and the unpredictable twists life takes after college. I loved how the novel followed Matt and Grace from their college years into adulthood, allowing us to see their personal growth and the impact of time and distance on their relationship. The characters were well-developed, and their emotions felt raw and authentic. I especially appreciated that the author didn’t rush to a happy ending, making the journey feel even more real and heartfelt. A touching, emotional read that lingers long after the final page!
