This books was so entertaining. I loved the humor and the family dynamics. There were moments when I literally laughed outloud. The scenes with Christa and her family, especially her mom and sisters, were just excellent.
I will say, I didn’t love the romance story line. It felt a little unnecessary. And, to me, it felt like it took me out of the main story with Christa’s father. I would have loved to see more about Christa diving into her feelings about her father’s return, or more scenes with the whole family together.
But I still really enjoyed this one. Seeing Christa’s progression and the way the experiences influenced her choices in life.
