I didn't like this book - I found it very repetitive and too melodramatic, with all the out of body experiences in the hospital, plus all the misery every character was feeling at every step throughout the novel.
I understand this sort of book appeals to many people, but I'm just not one of them. I enjoy deeper stories, I can read about tragedies all day long, but they need to be told in an unique way, otherwise I feel I am listening to the news or reading someone's diary. Not a fan of either.
