This book was like a bomb going off for the characters. Everything went wrong for them and their lives are completely upended by the end.

It is go go go, the whole time and despite making me really angry, I loved it.

Has Teagan’s sassy narration right from the jump. Starts off in the middle of an action sequence that had so much going on then back tracks to fill in the blanks

I love the metaphors and descriptions in this series. It really paints a picture in that fun, quirky Douglas Adams’ style.

Teagan is the main POV as always but you get some other ones thrown in. Reggie, her main handler has a POV for the first time in this

The plot of this one was good at creating suspicion. I kept second guessing the intentions of characters, even ones who have been core side characters for a while. It was well done.

I did hate that the plot is making me not trust Africa anymore. We already had 2 good friend of Teagan’s become untrustworthy or just a jerk. I didn’t want another one.

This book made me start to hate a lot of the secondary characters. Reggie, for being so willfully naive. Africa for being so unyielding and self-riteous. I already hated Nic as a character so he just got worse in this. He is so self righteous and thinks he’s always in the right. When he never considers things from Teagan’s perspective ever it’s always his perspective is correct and there is no other.

I got Annie’s anger, though she was still frustrating in this. It pissed me off the most that people just refused to take Teagan seriously and that she might have logical intentions. They all just wrote her off as being silly and not thinking things through

All the books in this series are incredibly fast-paced and non stop. There is always something happening to the characters and very little down time for them to regroup.

Solid kind of cliffhanger ending, makes me want to pick up the next book immediately!
