One of the Girls by Lucy Clarke

One of the Girls; Lucy Clarke

Genre: Suspense/Thriller

Rating: 3.5 stars One of the Girls is the latest novel by bestselling author, Lucy Clarke. It’s my first book by this author but I have heard about her other books and have been wanting to read something by her for a while.

The story follows six women on an epic weekend away an idealistic Greek island. The perfect setting for an island escape or something more deadly? The story examines the themes of female friendship, secrets and letting go of the past.

We get alternating perspectives told by each of the characters. The characters are realistic, fleshed out and relatable. It’s hard to choose one I liked the most. There were some shocking and clever twists. The book was easy to read, well-paced and enjoyable. I’d recommend this one to fans of authors like Lucy Foley, Ruth Ware, Rachel Hawkins, and Kiersten Modglin.

Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
