Here me out… 3/5 raiting reasoning
☑️ Kai Azer falling in love with Pae & admitting it
☑️ Tension in multiple scenes
☑️ Pretending turning into reality
☑️ Ending got me shook & heart broken

❌ too repetitive with the hiding & escapting
❌ not enough background information on the resistance & Pae background family history

I overall enjoyed this second series book, just wished it was less Romance and more world building, character development, background information development.

Still excited for the 3rd book!
