Mixed feeling. The first part of the book was a drag. Maybe also bcs I listened to the audiobook. But the second part, oh man, oh man. Things became political and Jude became ruthless, and I loved it.
The only thing that threw me off was the loooong paragraphs where Jude is either scheming or realizing some things, and these paragraphs are sometimes between a dialogue or when some other action scene is happening (which is most of the time, the book is fast-paced). It does take me out of the setting.
Also, the plot lowkey left my brain the moment I closed the book. Onto Wicked King.
