Clever alphabet couplets, reminiscent of Edward Gorey's Gashlycrumb Tinies, with drawings that seem a mix of steampunk, manga, and something from the mind of Edgar Allen Poe. I'm not sure what age group would appreciate it the most, trying to find the various things in the drawings represented by the illustrated letter, but I know a number of us adults at the library enjoyed searching for things beginning with "O." Can you say "offal?"
