Post Breakup Sex
by Sibylla Matilde
This book was surprisingly emotional for me, especially from about 70% through the end of the book. I’d forgotten how much I like this author’s writing.
Sophie was interesting to me…she wanted to try new things and live a little after having been treated liked a commodity her entire life. Some of the things she wanted to try, I’ve never even tried and I was impressed that she followed through with everything she wanted to do. However, I didn’t like how she didn’t stand up for Brannon and I felt like she never really made up for that.
Brannon was pretty great…manwhore and all. I loved his reaction to Sophie and his honesty with her. I loved their banter. I didn’t like how quickly he flew off the handle and wouldn’t listen to her when he saw something that was not actually what he thought he saw. That miscommunication in stories always makes me a little angry. I loved his patience as Sophie discovered herself. Her parents were just worthless.
I loved the ending…Denny was pretty great. I’m anxious to read the rest of the series as every character’s story should be really good.
