I saw another review that described this book as being about love in all its forms, and that just about sums it up. There are two main characters who are long term friends (and once were something more) and the book checks in with them at various time points. It's a short novel with sparse prose where most of what we learn about the characters is told through tiny vignettes. It falls into the "not sorry I read it but wasn't sad when it ended" category.
