A Closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers

5.0

This was pretty different from the first book in the series. Few characters in common, different circumstances and living situations, and a very different focus. It's less space crew adventure and more finding yourself / coming of age for two intertwined characters in different, interesting, and related ways. This book could probably be read on its own without reading the first book.

I missed the characters from the first book, as the ship's crew was pretty endearing. But I enjoyed this one quite a bit, once I got into it!
