Holly Jackson is such a powerhouse I love her wow. If she’s gonna do anything it’s write a compelling mystery story

My only real gripe is that the ending feels very very rushed. And there’s definitely secrets and consequences that, while secondary to the main investigation, I would be very curious as to the fallout

The voice is still so distinctly Jackson. I don’t think this novel reads much different from her YA work, with the main change really being the profanity and aged up characters
