Cameron's story starts in 2017 but quickly progresses into a time travel adventure that takes him to the past and into the world of a woman he has admired from a photograph. Candice is a news reporter in 1925 that is admired by her peers and is always looking for the next crime mystery even though her speciality is supposed to be the society pages. The two meet when Cameron tells a little white lie about why he wants to meet her. The relationship ensues from there.
I have been a fan of John Heldt's work since I read his journey series a fees years back. John has a way of writing that makes each story unique, adventurous and fast paced. I really fell in love with Cameron and Candice and I couldn't wait to finish the story and find out how these characters ended up. A definite must read in my book.
