I think this is the book to read if you are queer and living in diaspora. It’s so hard for a lot of us to admit to our immigrant family members about being queer because we are not sure of their cultural views. It is also hard to communicate that to someone who you don’t share a first language with. I think anyone who is queer & descended from immigrants should read this. It’s really one for the heart 💕
