Mari Carr once again tugged at my heart strings causing me to break out the tissues. Oliver always wanted the loving relationship that his parents had. While dating Erin he believed she was the one, but something was missing, that something was his foster brother Gavin. Gavin had a horrible experience in the foster system (thus the tissues) and is reluctant to commit to anyone because of his past disappointments. The Collins family has a lot of love to give, and it takes Gavin a while to realize it. This is a very emotional journey for Oliver, Erin, and Gavin as well as the reader as we go with the characters to find their happily ever after. I really enjoyed this story and look forward though with sadness, to the last book in the Collins saga.
