I love a domestic thriller. And this one had a few unexpected turns which I was here for.
Here’s the thing, if someone from high school starting messaging me I would be 100 % sure it was because they wanted to sell me something from an MLM. I would not be thinking they missed me and wanted to rekindle something and immediately jump into a weird texting relationship. That felt like a stretch for me. Also the texting vocab for the age of the characters seemed off.
However, it was twisty and a quick read and I hit a few points when I didn’t want to put it down.
