Every book I read by Jennifer Ann Shore makes me fall in love with her writing even more! This Book follows a senior named violet and her life with having to balance her huge family and her relationship with Penn, who plays hockey on her best friends team. This story is beautiful and realistic as it shows the struggles she faces with best friend conflict, an invasive family, and a biological dad who wants back into her life. Along the journey, Penn sticks with her being very supportive and patient. Their romance is the cutest and it was so fun to read about their dates and little moments.
