The Dictionary People: The Unsung Heroes Who Created the Oxford English Dictionary by Sarah Ogilvie

funny informative inspiring lighthearted relaxing medium-paced

5.0

Who would’ve thought reading the dictionary could be so entertaining. Incredibly interesting, funny and well-researched. A tad repetitive at times, which I guess makes sense, as it is itself a dictionary of sorts. If you’re interested in history and/or language this will not disappoint. The audiobook version is highly enjoyable but there is a fair bit of spelling so I would rather recommend you read it.
