Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky

Did not finish book.

I’m sure this book is really great once you read the whole thing, I mean just from half of the book I did find the plot to be interesting and thought provoking. However, the only issue I find in here is the unnecessary dragging of speech that just makes it very annoying to read. I mean there was just a 15 page speech about a guy and being an alcoholic that could’ve much easily been less.

As a result, I will not be rating this book as not to do it injustice because I do think the underlying meaning is great and it is a classic but, I don’t think the writing style can survive the 21st century...
