I enjoyed this book even more than the first and I thought the first was pretty good! Without spoiling, this story involves grooming, sexually assault, incest, murder, torture, manipulation, lies, destruction, renewal, unity, cooperation, community, resiliency, self-discovery, and love. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I wish the story continued after this but I understand why the author left it where she did. I'm so glad that I came across this series initially last summer when I read the first book. I look forward to Brown's new work in the future.
