I LOVED this book. It was such a quick and fast paced read. This Wicked Bond is part of Amanda’s Realm of Monsters series but each book is a complete standalone within the same world. After reading this I need to double back on the other two books because this one was GREAT.
The banter between Calamity and Lorc was everything. But what I loved most was the found family. Their whole friend group was the absolute best.
I found myself giggling, gasping and screeching throughout the entire book.
This book was already pretty fast paced from the beginning but the end really picked up and surprisingly the ending was perfect and didn’t feel rushed at all.
I truly would not mind Calamity and Loric having their very own sub series.
Another reason I loved this book is…DRAGONS. I can’t remember a time in my life where I wasn’t obsessed with dragons!
I highly recommend this book, I am truly impressed with Amanda’s writing. The talent she has to be able to created a slow burn romance in a single book and the payoff still be EVERYTHING…I mean everything tied together so well.
