The Outlaw Ocean: Journeys Across the Last Untamed Frontier by Ian Urbina

5.0

Goddamn this was the best non-fiction book I've ever read. The ocean is a world of abuse, mistreatment, and enslavement. The bureaucracy of contested waters and fishing rights will tear the seas apart, and the hope that any sort of legal law enforcement can be depended on to stop it becomes quite laughable. Love this book.
